Sunday School Classes for All Ages

We have a strong Sunday School program that aims to strengthen and grow the faith of all our members, Below is a brief description of our Sunday morning classes. We look forward to meeting you and your family.

Celebrate Life

Meets in room 201

Celebrate Life is a women’s class for all ages, known for its warmth, friendship and concern for women and children.  Sunday classes focus on discussions from a woman’s perspective. Studies are based on books of the Bible and mission projects may be included. Open ideas are welcome!

Cross Roads

Meets in the Parlor

We will start the year with Run! The Passion of Elijah. We will then go into the 13th volume of Ray Vander Laan’s That the World May Know video studies entitled Israel’s Mission.  Ray Vander Laan, teacher and historian will guide us through the land of the Bible. He will illuminate the historical, geographical and cultural context of Scriptures.  What’s Your Mission? God gave an assignment to His people thousands of years ago. Bring “lost sheep” back into the love and safety of His kingdom. It’s still our task today. In this 13th volume you will glimpse the urgency and rewards of welcoming the strangers and prodigals the Lord longs to embrace. Discover the mission that can give your life – and the lives of those around you – greater meaning than you ever imagined!

Practical Christianity

Meets in Fellowship Hall

Practical Christianity is a class for both men and women of all ages. We are a larger group with a small group feel—so we definitely have room for you! The class focuses on how we can live out our Christianity in practical ways in every day life through lively open discussions. Each year we choose books that we would like to study. Most years the class chooses to participate in at least one or more mission projects, as well.

For the fall of 2016, we will begin with Adam Hamilton’s Seeing Grey in a World of Black and White.  Come join us for Hamilton’s unique perspective and thoughtful discussions on the religious, moral, and political issues that often divide us.

Meets in Room 200

Kids’ Church takes place during our regular worship services. Children begin in the Sanctuary with everyone. After the Children’s Moment in the service, children can choose to go to Room 200 for their own worship service. Each week has a new lesson. Stories, activities, snacks and movies will be shared throughout the year. Parents can pick up their children in Room 200 after the Sanctuary service ends.
