Children's Place Learning Center
Providing a Preschool Curriculum with the convenience of a Full Day, Flexible ScheduleOur Philosophy and Goals
Children’s Place Learning Center has been established to provide quality child care to the community. We understand the needs of working parents and want to provide them peace of mind that every child is being educated and cared for in a loving, nurturing, and safe environment. Our curriculum is geared to support and encourage developmentally appropriate practices on an individual basis. It focuses on enriching the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical abilities of every child. Our goals are to promote security, independence, self-exploration, confidence, and recognition of diversity within each child. We believe that a teacher-guided, child directed atmosphere allows our staff to expand on teachable moments in every aspect of the daily activities.
Children’s Place Learning Center has been a part of the United Methodist Church Stow for over 45 years. It is an outreach of the church and is governed by a committee of church members. We are licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and follow the Ohio guidelines.
Parent/Teacher conferences are offered in November and May each year to review your child’s formal assessment. We feel that a school/home partnership is key to a child’s success.
We offer several special events for family involvement throughout the year. We also offer monthly in-school Little Leapers tumbling classes, Soccer Shots and SMF Public Library story-time with guest librarians. We have an open enrollment policy of welcoming children of all faiths.
Classes are Offered Monday-Friday, Year-Round 7:00am – 6:00pm
Tuition Rates:
Tuition rates vary according to schedules. We offer a flexible schedule for working parents which could range from two half days to five full days.
