Meet Our Staff

Here are some of the people you will see when you stop by.

Michael Swab

Pastor

Pastor Michael Swab is one-half of our Ministerial staff. He is a former member of The United Methodist Church in Stow, and he has been serving other churches in the East Ohio Conference. He and his wife, Susan, are happy to be part of our church life again.

Neal Keller

Pastor

Reverend Neal Keller is one-half of our Ministerial staff. He is originally from California. However, his wife, Sherry, is from Streetsboro, Ohio originally, and so being in Ohio is like being “home,” if not for Neal, definitely for Sherry! It is a joy to welcome Reverend Neal and Sherry to the life of our church.

Roxanne Rowe

Administrative Assistant

I have lived my entire life in northeast Ohio. Raised in Twinsburg and now reside in Tallmadge. I have 2 grown children and 4 wonderful grandchildren. I have worked in the Methodist Church for more than twenty years and enjoy interacting with the parishioners. It has been a joy to come back to the church where I was married. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, and there are still a few destinations left on my bucket list.

Jeremy Gilpatric

Director of Music

Jeremy Gilpatric holds Bachelors and Masters of Music and Juris Doctor Degrees from the University of Akron. He has sung professionally throughout the region. He is an Attorney at the Summit County Legal Defenders Office. Jeremy is excited to serve as Director of Music at the United Methodist Church in Stow and looks forward to directing the Bell Choir, Children’s Choir, and Chancel Choir.

Kim Gallagher

Ted Riley

Custodian & Groundskeeper

Ted Riley is our Caretaker. He has his own cleaning business, and so he serves as our custodian and groundskeeper. He and his wife Shannon have six children and three grandchildren. Ted is also a “handyman,” and he has done some “handy” work around our church since his arrival.

Karen Spiker and Kelly Kingston

Stow UMC Preschool

Karen Spiker and Kelly Kingston are the co-Lead Teachers of the Stow UMC Preschool, which runs September through May each year. Typically their schedule follows that of the S-MF City Schools. They serve 3, 4, and 5 year olds. Mrs. Spiker teaches classes of 3-year olds, and Mrs. Kingston teaches classes of 4-year olds.
