2-day, 3-year-old Morning Class: T/TH, 9:15-11:45am: $130/month (Must be 3 by September 1st 2023):

Our first day of school will be September 5, 2023.
A $50.00 non-refundable registration fee is required at the time of registration.
Tuition is due on the 1st of each of the nine months from August through April.
Church members and siblings of current and former students are eligible for early registration. Please email us at stowumcpreschool@outlook.com in January for exact dates/procedures.

The Stow UMC Preschool is a play- based preschool where our teachers follow daily lesson plans centered on thematic units, and incorporate a balance of academic and social skills. The children learn skills and basic concepts throughout the school year to prepare the students for school readiness. We focus on the alphabet, numbers, shapes, and colors. A Newsletter is sent home each month to recap the exciting lessons and to look forward to what is happening next in the classroom. We typically take a few fun day trips throughout the year, have several special guests visit the preschool, and enjoy holiday classroom parties. Student assessments and conferences are held each January/February to discuss your child’s progress and review their work, as well as provide an opportunity for parents to discuss any questions or concerns about their child.

It is our mission to instill a love of learning in each of the students and we look forward to a partnership with each family to help create this love of learning.

Each of our Stow UMC Preschool classes follow a daily schedule, which typically includes the following activities: Welcome/Arrival Activities, Circle time/Calendar/Weather, Story/Reading time, Snack time, Art project, Small group/One-on-one time/Centers, and Indoor/Outdoor Free play or Gross motor activities.

We are licensed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

Each of our teachers has a 4- year degree in the field of education. Each class also has an experienced teacher’s assistant.

Each class consists of 10 to 16 children, a teacher, and an assistant.

All children must be potty-trained to attend the Stow UMC Preschool.

Our program begins after Labor Day & runs for 36 weeks. We generally follow the Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools calendar for holidays & days off school.

We have an open enrollment policy of welcoming children of all faiths.

The Stow UMC Preschool has been a part of the United Methodist Church in Stow for over 50 years. It is an outreach of the church and is governed by a Preschool Committee of church members.
